Trust Me

During a period  of lost hope, frustration and disappointments, my thoughts from me to the Lord and His thoughts, the Lord to me.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.
⁹ “For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts.  Isaiah 55:8-9 NKJV


When all around me was sinking
When I had lost all courage to carry on
My light seemed like darkness
My road was rough and cooked
I searched every corners for help
I looked to the east, west, north and south
No one came rushing to my beckon
So I stood still to seek His face
Looked up to the heavens
Cried out to Him with all my heart
He heard my plea

He said
Trust me to bring you out of this mess
And l will make the crooked road straight
You have searched everywhere else, But not Me
Come to Me, you broken one and I will give you rest
I am the light that shines in the midst of darkness
I am the way,truth, and life.
In Me your joy, hope and faith is secured
Yes in Me.

I am free

I thought about what Jesus dying on the cross meant to me (Selah)

 When you were stuck in your old sin-dead life, you were incapable of responding to God. God brought you alive—right along with Christ! Think of it! All sins forgiven, the slate wiped clean, that old arrest warrant canceled and nailed to Christ's cross. He stripped all the spiritual tyrants in the universe of their sham authority at the Cross and marched them naked through the streets. Colossians 2:13-15 MSG

My wills and desires are surrendered on the cross

That He would use me for His purpose alone

My flaws, mistakes and imperfection I nail to the cross

That I will be transformed to Christ Image

The cross signifies Christ act of service to humanity

He sacrificed His life for me
He gave it all up for me and you

All my sins are nailed to the cross for good
Yes for good

Letting go of all my burdens at the foot of the cross

An exchange took place 

Beauty for ashes, joy for Mourning, blessings for curses

Now I am free

Set free indeed

Your Grace is enough for me

When the Lord called me,  my imperfection  was placed before Him, "I must be perfect to be accepted" I thought.  You know what, the Lord used it all for His glory.  Now I am living under His abundant grace.

But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me!  2 Corinthians 12:9 Amp

Though I am not worthy
You chose me and set me apart for your works
Though I do not deserve You
You still loved and accepted me
Though I am not perfect
You made me completely whole through You blood
Your blood that heals, purifies, sanctifies and redeems me
Though I did not work for it
You paid for it on the cross
Lord Jesus Your grace is enough me to carry through
You are more than enough for me Jesus

My eyes are fixed on You

My thoughts towards You Lord,  when all around me seemed to be crumbling. When I had no where else to run to and no one else to turn to.  The road seemed so dark and all I could see was a little glitter of light.  So I fixed my eyes on You. 

I prayed to the Lord my God and confessed:

“O Lord, you are a great and awesome God! You always fulfill your covenant and keep your promises of unfailing love to those who love you and obey your commands. Daniel 9:4 NLT

My eyes are fixed on You Lord
My eyes are fixed on You
My hope is in You Lord
My hope is in You
My trust is in You
I am firmly rooted in You
Whatever happens I will not be moved.
Yes I will not be shaken
When the enemy pushes me to the left or right
I will not fall
Because Your covenant keeps me
Your promises are established in my life
Surely this I  confidently know

Christ the redeemer

Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written,“Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”)Galatians 3:13 NKJV

During this Easter period, as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, I reflected back on the pains, hurts, false accusation, betrayal, denial and so on He had to pass through to sacrifice His Life (John 3:16).

I bore your pains and hurts because of you
Those nails pierced My flesh so deep
So deep that My blood gushed out forcefully
 My precious blood splattered all over My body to redeem you
I was mocked, spat at, betrayed, stripped off my dignity because of you
In false accusation a judgement was passed
crucify Him!!!!!! crucify Him they said
I paid the costly price because of you
In helplessness I cried out to My father in heaven
My God, My God have you abandoned me.
I sacrificed my life to rescue, restore and redeem you from the power of darkness

My Love

How great is Your love for me
So great You shed your blood on the cross
How deep is Your love
So deep deeper than the ocean
How wide is Your love
So wide are Your arms to rest in Your comfort
Who can compare to Your love?
I still stand amazed in precious love






My prayer towards you is that : May Christ through your faith [actually] dwell (settle down, abide, make His permanent home) in your hearts! May you be rooted deep in love and founded securely on love,

    ¹⁸That you may have the power and be strong to apprehend and grasp with all the saints [God's devoted people, the experience of that love] what is the breadth and length and height and depth [of it];

    ¹⁹[That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]!   Ephesians 3:17-19 amp
